  5. corruption-plagued Teamsters Union from 1981 to 1983; of
  6. emphysema; in Leeton, Mo. He resigned after being convicted with
  7. four others of conspiracy to bribe former Nevada Senator Howard
  8. Cannon. Williams later testified as a Government witness in
  9. trials examining underworld influence on his union, and was
  10. paroled from federal prison last September after serving 34
  11. months of a ten-year sentence.
